Nokia's just told us that its most eagerly awaited smartphones are either ready to be sold, or nearly at that point. The N91, N80 and N71 are finally expected to arrive in Europe within the next two weeks (Americans, though, will have to be a bit more patient, as the N80's still to drop - it's to be sold by Cingular sometime later this year). The business-class E-Series phones - the E60, E61 and E71 - still don't have a definite release date yet, though; the company says to expect them "sometime in the next few weeks".

The phones have been delayed due to months of software problems. Hopefully Nokia's managed to solve them conclusively; otherwise, its competitors'll steal a march on them for sure (and hey, they need to catch up to RIM and Palm, too).
